The Lullaby Project (2019)

EP

Taking inspiration from an old book of Lullabies that Elisabeth Flett found in a Cecil Sharp House bargain bin one day in Autumn 2018, this is a concept album recorded in the most intimate of settings: in her family's music room in Fife. Settle back, close your eyes and join me as she sits at the piano one day in chilly January 2019, the radiator clicking on and off, the sound of birdsong in the distance. This is an EP for when the nights draw in, the skies turn dark and the fire begins to blaze. Available on Bandcamp.

ROOTS (2018-2020)

Theatre Show

'ROOTS' was a solo folk theatre show written by Elisabeth Flett in Spring 2018. "Using a mixture of spoken word, Scottish traditional folk tunes and songs, archive material and her own original compositions, Elisabeth explores the theme of displacement through her personal experience as a Scottish teenager moving away from a close-knit village community and into an alien, sprawling city across the border. This is a story about leaving, arriving, self-identity, despair, hope and what to do if you live in inner city London but are urgently missing sheep." As seen at London Theatre’s Itchy Scratch Night, Write My Blurb, HYG Nights at the Hundred Years Gallery, Lewisham Fringe Festival 2018, Edinburgh Fringe 2019, The Canvas Cafe & The Poetry Cafe
